I am leaving Dr Foster. Her office does not actually check what your insurance will cover and ignores complaints when their quotes are not even close to what your insurance actually covers. When I called my insurance company, they had no record of her office checking my policy. I can no longer trust her.
Love her! She did my wisdom tooth extractions and I was very numb and sedated. I don’t even remember it! Thank you for taking great care of me! Best dental visit!
I had several fillings done. I am very anxious and Dr. Foster was very gentle and I didn’t feel anything at all. She even called me afterwards to see how I was doing! I am not as afraid anymore because I trust that she won’t hurt me!
My family had been going to this dentist since Dr. Burkett retired. In the spring of 2022, my wife had a crown done and I had old cavities that I was told needed to be redone. We go to the six month cleaning in the summer of 2022 and we get the same story, my wife needed a crown on another tooth and I needed more old cavities redone. We decided to not have that done, we have had no tooth pain and switched to a new dentist in 2023 and we did not need to have any work done, x-rays showed none of those issues as well. It's sad that patients who were there from the beginning were being led down a path of mistrust.
I question hygiene practices and general sanitation at this office. Front end staff rotate on a frequent basis - never the same employees working the desk twice. This leads to issues concerning payment and insurance. Always booking appointments two months out - no matter the dental issue. Too much gabbing amongst the staff while performing procedures - this includes the dentist. My confidence in this practice has steadily eroded over time.
Up until 2021 no problems...BUT then big change when i used my own BCBS insurance instead of what she was selling. they couldn't be bothered to call the insurance provider to figure out how to process the papers. I had to explain it to them. they made 2 copies of the insurance card and misplaced them.. Dr. foster insisted that i provide a 3rd (i guess my time is free). There is a disputed charge (that kept changing) for work not done that they refuse to resolve. In my experience this type of a problem only grows into larger issues, so it was time to go elsewhere instead of trying to work with the problem. That dentist didn't have any problem with BCBS dental insurance paperwork.
She is the best dentist that I have ever had. She is extremely kind and takes her time to give her patients that best and most gentle care!
This dentist office has went down hill over the last few years. I complained about a cleaning , that was rushed and not completed. They charged my insurance and kept the money that the office manger said would be returned. I had contact my insurance to get them to deny the claim instead of the dentist stepping up to take care of it.
I hadn't been to a dentist in several years, so I was very happy to work with such a great team. From reception to my hygienist to Dr. Foster, everyone I worked with was knowledgeable, efficient, and considerate. The competence and kindness showed to me only instilled more confidence in their capabilities, and was comforting. There was a bit of a wait from the time of my initial call to the first appointment that worked for my schedule, but that is to be expected as a new patient. Highly recommend!
I saw Dr. Foster for the first time after my previous dentist of 20 years retired. I wish I would have made the change sooner! Dr. Foster and her staff are incredible! Denise the dental hygienist was compassionate, gentle and very thorough. Front desk personal was so nice. My husband, sister-in-law and sister all see Dr. Foster. I highly recommend this practice.
