Dr. Jennifer M. Zavoral is a board-certified periodontist who has been working in the field since 2011. She received her B.S. in Biology from Youngstown State University in 2004, then earned her D.M.D. degree in 2008 and her Certificate in Periodontology in 2011 from the University of Pittsburgh School of Dental Medicine. Additionally, she received her M.P.H. from the University of Pittsburgh School of Public Health in 2009. She is a Diplomate of the American Board of Periodontics. Her professional memberships include the Omicron Kappa Upsilon National Dental Honor Society, American Association of Women Dentists, the American Academy of Periodontology, the Pittsburgh Academy of Periodontics, and Delta Sigma Delta Dental Fraternity.

Jennifer looked at my teeth and had to give me grim news about what was needed to improve my oral health. She explained everything and then, she did it. I now have a full set of implants too and bottom, and I can eat and smile again. She is so skilled and is great at follow up. Her office staff are outstanding as well, making sure I understood the billing and insurance stuff. I'd give and her staff 10 stars, she's just top shelf, and add to that she is A YSU Penguin, what could be better!!!

I have had implant surgery with Dr. Zaverol and everything went smoothly with a seedy recovery period. I, also, continue to maintain 6 month oral hygiene visits. I will recommend Dr.Zaverol’s practice and staff in the future. Everyone is professional, while being warm and genuine.

I was referred to Dr. Zavoral by my dentist for a gum problem. From the minute you walk in to her beautiful office, you are warmly greeted by her personable staff. No waiting here, you go right to an exam room. No waiting for the doctor either. Dr. Zavoral is very professional and a good listener. She easily explained the surgery needed to correct the gum pocket. During surgery, I was slightly nervous. Her assistant noticed and kindly rubbed my shoulders. What a nice gesture! It felt like my Mom was with me. The surgery was completed and the Dr. personally called that evening to see how I was doing. Talk about being impressed. For each follow up appointment, the office sends you a reminder text which was very nice. I would highly recommend Dr. Zavoral’s for any type of periodontal procedure. She and her office staff are top notch, caring, and yet very professional too.

My experience at this office was comfortable the entire way through. Dr. Zavoral and her staff put me at ease and worked efficiently. Beautiful office, wonderful staff, A+ work!

I was very disappointed with this Dr. In my opinion she was very rude and not sympathetic at all. I am still having problems since she performed the procedure. I definitely would not recommend her at all. Worst experience I have ever had with a dentist.

Excellent experience! Dr. Z is thorough, bright, enthusiastic about her profession, good at explaining procedures. Efficient, using technology to its fullest extent. Great office staff!

Dr.Zavoral is a very good Periodontist. I had extensive work done with my teeth and now they are healthy for the first time in years. She is very thorough and I think that her work ist top notch.
