About
Dr. Sturgill kicked off his academic journey by attending King University in Bristol, Tennessee on an academic scholarship.He graduated with honors and earned dual degrees in biology and business administration.After college, Dr. Sturgill went to dental school at Arizona School of Dentistry & Oral Health, located just outside of Phoenix.Again, he opted for the dual major route getting his Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) and Master of Public Health (MPH) degrees.Dr. Sturgill completed the postgraduate orthodontic and dentofacial orthopedics program and graduated with a specialty certificate in orthodontics and a Doctorate in Health Education (DHEd).He was also chosen to participate an in implant osseointegration study at Harvard School of Dental Medicine.He wrapped up his training by serving as chief resident for his program and completing rotations at the St. Josephs Hospital and Medical Center Barrow Neurological Institute Cleft and Craniofacial Center. Phew! That was a lot of schooling!
