About
(Actively Perfecting Dentistry) Dr. Planer graduated with honors from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill School as a Doctor of Dental Surgery. She truly loves her profession and treats her patients like they are a part of her family! Before joining Arden Premier Dentistry, Dr. Planer worked for MAHEC Dental Health Center, where she was responsible for treating patients and mentoring dental residents. She also served patients in private practice in Charlotte, North Carolina, before moving to Asheville. Dr. Planer is on the board with the North Carolina Academy of General Dentistry and the Buncombe County Dental Society. She is a member in good standing of the American Dental Association , the North Carolina Dental Society, Seattle Study Club and a local Spear Education study group. In her spare time, Dr. Planer can be found exploring the great outdoors of Asheville with her husband Chris and Labradoodle, Flossy! She enjoys taking group exercise classes, running, and meditating daily. Dr. Planer looks forward to getting to know you and your family while serving your dental needs.
