About
Growing up as a child of two immigrant parents from China, I did not have access to healthcare and dental care. I remember the agony of crooked teeth and of tooth pain. I have been blessed with many opportunities in my life, including having access to quality education and the privilege of choosing my career. I decided to go into dentistry, because I believe that dentistry can profoundly improve people's quality of life both physically and emotionally. Two of my professional passions are continuing education and giving back to the community. I have taken hundreds of hours of continuing education so far and am committed to staying current with new research, techniques, materials, and technology to improve my clinical skills, my patients' experiences and to promote oral and overall health for patients. Giving back to the community is also another passion. Since my undergraduate studies at Emory University, I have volunteered in numerous dental clinics and Missions of Mercy clinics, where I assisted and provided services to those who cannot afford dental care. I hope to do international outreach projects in the near future. I took over Asheboro Family Dentistry in early 2017 and am excited to improve the health and smiles of patients in Asheboro and the North Carolina Triad area. I am committed to providing quality dental care in a family atmosphere and with a personal touch. I continue to take continuing education courses to improve my clinical skills and to ensure my patients obtain the best possible care and outcomes. In his spare time, I enjoy spending time with my family and friends. I also enjoy travelling, hiking, running, cycling and basketball.
