Dr. Distel was born and raised locally in the Northwest suburbs of Chicago. He received his Doctorate of Dental Medicine Cum Laude from Southern Illinois University in 1998. Dr. Distel received his Masters Degree in Endodontics from Saint Louis University in 2000. Dr. Distel is an Illinois Board Certified Endodontist practicing in Lake Zurich, IL. He has performed over 15,000 Endodontic procedures utilizing the latest technology for patients. He has published research in the Journal of Endodontics and has given several Endodontic presentations to local dental societies and study clubs. Dr. Distel's research has been cited in over 130 published research articles studying Endodontics. Dr. Distel is committed to staying on the cutting edge to provide patients with the best care, he continually attends education seminars and maintains many professional memberships including the following: American Association of Endodontists, American Dental Association, Illinois State Dental Society, Illinois Association of Endodontists, McHenry County Dental Society, Chicago Dental Society, Honor Society of Phi Kappa Phi, Excellence Study Club and Spear Education Study Club
