About
Ryan Gilleland, DMD a born and raised Georgia native from Lilburn, graduated from Parkview High School, and earned his Bachelor of Science in Biology from the University of Georgia. He worked as a dental lab technician in Snellville, GA for two years, gaining valuable insight and experience into the dental field before attending Georgia Regents University in Augusta (formerly the Medical College of Georgia). He was awarded several scholarships and certificates including: Omicron Kappa Upsilon Dental Honors Society Sophomore Scholarship, OKU Junior and Senior Certificates of Academic Achievement, and the American Academy of Esthetic Dentistry Award. During school, Dr. Gilleland met Dr. Kapur through a mutual friend, and found their dental philosophies very similar. Dr. Gilleland has a passion and appreciation for aesthetic and restorative dentistry. He is also a member of the ADA and GDA, and to increase his skill level, he will attend multiple continuing education courses to stay informed about latest innovations. He attends Mountain Park United Methodist Church, and is an active member of the community. His free time involves playing soccer at the Atlanta Silverbacks' Park, discovering great places to eat, and travelling with his wife (also Christine) who works in commercial real estate in Atlanta, GA.
