About

Dr. Hay was raised an Army Brat until attending The University of Kansas where he earned a B.A. majoring in Human Biology in 1983. Accepted to Dental Schools at Creighton, The University of Nebraska and The University of Missouri- Kansas City, he chose UMKC for their clinical orientation and reputation. Dr. Hay received his DDS degree in 1987 and began private practice in June of that year. He has been in private practice continually since that time. Dr. Hay has served twice as president of the Douglas County Dental Society, once as president of the First District ( Kansas) and as a delegate to the KDA.

You won't find a better dentist than Dr. Hay. He's extremely competent, thorough, and also a friendly and decent person. I've been coming to see him for years and it's long been clear to me that he cares first and foremost about my teeth and gum health. This is not a place where you're going to be subjected to sales tactics for unnecessary or purely cosmetic products or procedures. I really appreciate that. It's a small office and everyone there is friendly. I'm thankful to be a patient here!

I am constantly surprised by the level of care and attention I receive from Dr. Hay. I have never had a dentist take the time to create a treatment plan and discuss all my options with me in such detail. I feel like my dental care is in really good hands!
