About
Dr. Park, DMD is an esteemed member of the Doctor Mastery Program. The five-year program consists of clinical training conducted by world renowned clinicians, from building on foundational skills and advancing to mastery of the most complex dental care. Upon completion of the five-year program, Dr. Park, DMD will achieve a Fellowship with the Academy of General Dentistry (FAGD) held by only 7% of general dentists in the United States, as well as increase access to dental care. Born and raised in Miami, FL, Dr. Park moved away to study at the University of Pennsylvania for his BA in English. He then worked in New York City for several years upon graduation before returning home to attend the College of Dental Medicine at Nova Southeastern University in Fort Lauderdale, FL. During dental school, Dr. Park was active in student government and, by his last year, was elected Student Government President for the entire dental student body. Graduating with his dental degree in 2008, Dr. Park was also awarded the prestigious Chancellor's Award ``for demonstrating the characteristics of scholarship, leadership, integrity, humanity, and loyalty to the profession.`` In addition, he has received the Alpha Omega Removable Prosthetics Award, the recognition as ``Top 10 Student for the Class of 2008`` and membership into the Omicron Kappa Upsilon National Honor Dental Society. As a life-long goal, Dr. Park is always seeking to improve in his profession and has attended advanced courses in subjects ranging from cosmetic dentistry, implant dentistry, Invisalign and root canal therapy to name just a few. Aside from his professional duties, Dr. Park enjoys mentoring young doctors as well as high school and college students interested in dentistry. He also is a firm believer in using his knowledge and skills as a dentist to serve the impoverished and has attended dental missions overseas.
