About
I grew up in St. Louis, Kirkwood actually, and my wife grew up in Kirkwood as well. She has been a great stay at home mother, raising our eight wonderful children, and now she is enjoying our eleven grandchildren. I first went to college at Kalamazoo College in Kalamazoo Michigan. After about a year at Kalamazoo, I decided that I wanted to be a veterinarian. I transferred to Mizzou and tried to keep my grades up to get into the Veterinary School. During my senior year, my father sat down with me and convinced me to apply to dental school as well. I was not too sure, but I took his advice. I filled out the application, took the Dental Aptitude Test, and then I was called in for an interview. In a few weeks, I was actually accepted! I was so happy and excited that I never even finished the application for vet school. Thanks to my dad, it was one of the best decisions I ever made. I love dentistry! I graduated with distinction in the top 10% of the class of 150 students, graduating six months early, and awarded membership in the honorary dental fraternity. Over the years I have bought three practices of retiring dentists. For about ten years I also practiced part-time for a large dental practice in north county, taking care of patients who needed root canal treatment. I am a general dentist treating almost all areas of dental problems from cosmetic smile rehabilitation to extractions. ( I do not remove impacted wisdom teeth or treat orthodontic cases.) I have maintained my practice at 6512 Lansdowne since July of 1975. I consider myself a constant learner, and there has been much to master. Having dedicated myself to my family, church, and my practice, I cannot believe how quickly the last 45 years have flown by. And, I plan to keep at it for many years to come.
