About
Dr. John Seisman grew up in Annapolis, Maryland and has been living in southern Maryland after completing school and residency. He earned his Bachelor of Science in Neurobiology and Physiology from the University of Maryland at College Park. He went on to receive a Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the University of Maryland, Baltimore College of Dental Surgery. Dr. Seisman was the sole member of his graduating class selected to participate in a clerkship focusing on Advanced Fixed Prosthodontics. He has been awarded the Southeastern Academy of Prosthodontics award for Excellence in Prosthodontics, the Harry B. Schwartz Memorial Award for Excellence in Fixed Prosthodontics, and was selected to be a member of the American Prosthodontic Foundation Scholar's Program. He was inducted into Gorgas Odontological Honorary Society and the Gamma Pi Delta Prosthodontic Honor Society. Dr. Seisman completed an Advanced Education in General Dentistry residency at Virginia Commonwealth University which focused on comprehensive dental care including restoring dental implants, as well as the fabrication of complete and immediate dentures. Dr. Seisman has practiced in southern Maryland for the last four years. He is committed to learning advanced and up to date techniques to ensure the best outcomes for his patients. He has committed hundreds of hours of continuing education for implant placement and restoration, orthodontics and sedation methods. Dr. Seisman is an Invisalign certified provider and a member of the DOCS- Dental Organization for Conscious Sedation. Outside of the office, Dr. Seisman enjoys spending time with friends and family, working on his Jeep and cheering on the Ravens.
