Dr. Jay Lawless is an orthodontic specialist serving Bowling Green, Glasgow and Russellville, Kentucky providing his patients with the most advanced and comprehensive care available. Dr. Lawless received his Bachelors of Science degree with honors in Biology from the University of Kentucky in 1992, and graduated with distinction from the University of Kentucky College of Dentistry in 1996. He completed his residency at the Veteran's Administration Hospital and Chandler Medical Center in Lexington, KY, earning dual certificates, and went on to complete a Master's of Science degree in Orthodontics and Dentofacial Orthopedics from the University of Kentucky in 2000. Dr. Lawless is the Past President of both the Pennyrile Dental Society of the Kentucky Dental Association and the Kentucky Association of Orthodontists. Dr. Lawless attends numerous continuing education courses every year and requires that his staff do the same in order to provide his patients with the most current, effective and efficient treatments that the orthodontic specialty offers. Dr. Lawless and his staff hold certifications from courses endorsed by the AAO and have certifications offered by the University of Kentucky. In his spare time, Dr. Lawless enjoys spending quality time with his wife, Laura, and his three boys, Rob, Drew and Jack. He also coaches various Little League sports such as baseball, basketball and football for the city of Bowling Green and Warren County.
