Dr. Montag and his staff have always given us incredible care. We find everyone in the office so nice too - and there is never a wait. My family drives all the way to Clifton Park from Albany to use their services, too! We found Dr. Montag via a referral from friends after my husband had a dental emergency. Dr. Montag found time to devote hours to fix the pain my husband had in spite of being a new client. Sure, he refers out to other dental professionals on occasion - all dentists do. I am also very happy to say that I trust his referrals - they have all been very good at what they do.
My experience with Dr. Montag and his staff has always been top notch. Dr. Montag is great and his entire staff is amazing! I’ve been a patient of his for over a decade ever since moving to the Albany area. From routine cleanings, to more substantial dental work, I’ve had it all done through his practice and I wouldn’t go anywhere else. I highly recommend Dr. Montag and his staff to anyone looking for a great dentist in the area!

Minimal contact with dentist...hygienist is excellent. Dr. spends as little time as possible. Seems disinterested. Very pricey visits. He pushes "tooth implants". Said he doesn't do bridgework anymore.
I have been seeing Dr. Montag for over ten years now, and I can't say enough about what a great dentist he is and how wonderful his staff his. There are no long waits here, I always feel comfortable, and Dr. Montag and his staff always take the time to give me great care. Would highly recommend this office if you are looking for a thorough, high-quality dental experience.
Just had another visit with Dr. Montag and again, top-notch! I wouldn't give much credit to that last review as Dr. Montag is completely in sync with his staff and they seem to have a jovial and friendly relationship. Complications can happen with billing and often times patients have trouble understanding the process. I'll always be a patient of Dr. Montag's and encourage anyone reading these anonymous reviews to take them all with a grain of salt.
Recently bad experiences have been cropping up. Ladies are outstanding and I wish I could take them to my new office. Billing is less than desirable though. We know that he is not in our network so out-of-pockets costs exist. Our last experience and a reason that prompted us to leave was the fact that my husband paid as he left, rcv'd a bill, called to pay bill but we have a credit?? Billing is never the same answer. Dr has also been overheard being rude to his ladies which is unacceptable.
I just met Dr. Montag last week as an emergency - wow! What a nice guy. They squeezed me right in, his staff were courteous and efficient, and the office was clean and organized. Can't believe this place is around the corner from my house!
My family and I have been seeing Dr. Montag for many years. We couldn't be happier with our experience. His staff are both professional and extremely friendly. He has modern equipment, is up to date on his skills, and always makes us comfortable. Over the years we've had a few emergencies and Dr. Montag has always made sure to see us that day (and once on a weekend)! We highly recommend this practice and couldn't imagine going anywhere else.
