Dr. Joseph McIntyre, DDS

About

Dr. McIntyre grew up on a turkey farm just outside of Roseville, California. He enjoyed working with his hands in the shop and spent many hours fixing and creating things. As a teenager, his girlfriend's father was a dentist and that sparked his interest in the profession. After earning his Bachelor's Degree from Brigham Young University, Dr. McIntyre received his doctorate from the University of California in San Francisco in 1982. He has taken many advanced continuing education courses, including graduating from the prestigious Kois Center for Dental Excellence, courses in implants, Dr. Misch Surgical Continuum, cosmetics, veneers, Lumineers, same-day Cerec crowns and Invisalign. Dr. McIntyre is a member of International Congress of Oral Implantologists, the Academy of General Dentistry, the American Dental Association, the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry, and the Academy of Osseointegration. Dr. McIntyre and his wife, Becky, have six children and 19 grandchildren. They enjoy spending time with the family and traveling across the country to visit all of them. Dr. McIntyre is a strong supporter of the Boy Scouts of America and is pleased that all three of his sons are Eagle Scouts. He also enjoys woodworking, especially making furniture for his children's homes, and bass fishing. Dr. McIntyre is a gentle, caring dentist who uses the most advanced materials and procedures available. He practices comfortable, health-centered dentistry with a strong emphasis on getting to know each of his patients. In addition to his technical proficiency, Dr. McIntyre is a careful listener and will explain beforehand what treatment is best for your individual needs.
