About

Dr. Perrone attended top ranked University of Connecticut School of Dental Medicine where he obtained the degree of D.M.D. He then attended the University of Pittsburgh where he completed both his medical degree (M.D.) and his certificate of specialty in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery. He now practices in Milford, CT and Derby, CT where he is a partner in his private practice. He is also an attending physician at Yale New Haven Hospital where he treats facial injuries and does reconstructive facial surgery. He is an instructor for the oral surgery residency where he enjoys educating our future doctors.

Care Philosophy

I understand that an oral surgeon's office is an anxiety provoking place to be. I do my best to keep patients comfortable throughout their time in my office. I enjoy meeting new patients and the process of getting to know each other. I like to take my time to ensure that we are on the same page, and we are comfortable with each other before proceeding with surgery. I make every effort to be prompt and respect each patient's time. While I understand that nobody wants to be in a surgeon's office in the first place, my goal is to have every patient leave pleasantly surprised thinking, "That was much easier than I thought it would be."

I was referred to Dr. Perrone by my family dentist for implant surgery on two teeth. I was apprehensive, and confess to be a coward in the dental chair but needed the implants to complete my smile line. Dr. Perrone is not only technically outstanding, but his chairside manner is compassionate and in tune with the anxiety many patients experience, especially before an elective procedure. I have just had the posts for the implants placed three days ago and am quite comfortable and able to eat soft food. The team in Dr. Perrone's practice is equally outstanding and it is evident that they share the same commitment to patient safety and comfort. Although my process is not entirely complete, the hard part is over and I am confident of a good outcome. I highly recommend this practice.

Excellent .......amazingly painless when he pulled my wisdom tooth. Everything he stares in his bio is what he did! ........he made me feel totally relaxed.....explained everything throughly and never felt any pain!! He is an amazing oral dentist......I HIGHLY recommend him....
