About
Dr. Johnny Taylor has more than 39 years of experience in his field and a genuine passion for helping his patients achieve healthy, beautiful smiles. He attended Sam Houston State University and the University of Texas, Dental Branch, in San Antonio. A devout Texas Longhorns fan, Dr. Taylor lives in a house divided with his wife, Lisa, a fan of Texas' long-standing rival, the Oklahoma Sooners. Dr. Taylor is an active member of the Pankey Study Club and a Fellow of the International Congress of Oral Implantologists. He continues his education year-round in order to further hone his skills and stay abreast of the latest technology in the industry. Dr. Taylor has always been passionate about sleep apnea, and he has been treating this life-threatening disease with dental appliances; thanks to recent public awareness, he has now made sleep apnea treatment a large part of his endeavors to help his patients improve their overall health and quality of life. Dr. Taylor is married to his hardworking wife, Lisa, who takes care of their family. Together, they share four children and four beautiful grandchildren, Kendall, Destry, Rowen, and Alden – with more to come, hopefully! Dr. Taylor's interests outside of dentistry include his loving family, church, competitive shooting (3 gun), USPSA, IDPA, hunting, and skiing. He is also an NRA-certified handgun instructor.
