Save yourself the headache!! Their office staff “mistakenly” told me my tongue biopsy wouldn’t be covered by my insurance and that I had to pay $2,650 to have the procedure, which I paid. My insurance told me my procedure WAS in fact, covered and my patient responsibility is $100. This was 1/2/2025…it’s mid April and I’m STILL TRYING TO GET REFUNDED $2,550!! And! Dr. Foxson admittedly told me he didn’t know what was causing my pain issue and that I needed a 2nd biopsy!! When I still can’t get refunded from the first one!!!
I was charged $550 without ever getting any work done. $200 for consultation and then $150 cancellation fee even though I showed up to the appointment. They have a rude, dismissive office practice manager. She lied about the consultation. She said she spent 40 minutes with me, but in fact spent maybe 10 minutes explaining the dental implant procedures. They force you to take general anesthesia. Otherwise they will not treat you. And this is just for two extractions. They sent me to an Endodontist saying they thought they had to extract another tooth. It looked infected which created another $200 for another CT scan to find out the tooth was fine. I do not trust this practice. Money hungry. I’ve never in my 67 years on this planet, encountered a Dentist/Oral Surgeon who insists on General Anesthesia for extractions and implants. He will not treat you otherwise. He stands behind his unprofessional Practice Manager who clearly gets incentive to prioritize profit or care of patients.
Went there for two implants. The Office Manager was rude and did not explain the procedure correctly. She lied to me in front of two technicians saying she spent 40 minutes explaining an implant procedure. . The truth is she spent 10 minutes with me at most. They charged me $200 for the consultation, and when I told them I wanted to do the extractions first, then bone grafting, they said fine. However, when I came for the extractions, the oral surgeon said doing it all together was optimal. Otherwise there would be a 6 month wait after the extraction for the grafting. I said then let’s do all next month. They said ok but then the Office Manager hit me with a $150 cancellation fee? I showed up. She didn’t explain the procedure correctly. They also charged my credit card before any procedures. Unbelievable. I am not comfortable with these people. Ruined my New Years Eve. Stay away.
Watching the video on Dr. Foxon's website, one might expect everyone to be treated like family by Dr. Foxon and his team, but my experience was vastly different. After my extraction on a Thursday, I had complications that led me to call the after-hours line on a Friday night. Shockingly, I didn't receive a callback until Monday morning. His practice felt like a conveyor belt—you're processed for a specific task, and they don't seem to appreciate problems that cause the belt to stop. Dr. Foxon did not check on me in the post-op area or at my first follow-up visit. Instead, I was assessed by staff members whose credentials were unclear (potentially just medical assistants). One informed me that my extraction was complicated and took longer than expected—something Dr. Foxon never addressed with me. Overall, it was a disappointing experience
I would give them zero stars. This facility is a scam and money-hungry, they only care about money and charged me more money after my bill was paid in full! Please do not go here
I should have read reviews before I made an appointment for a consultation (typical expectation a 15 minute appointment). After waiting over 45 minutes we had to finally leave to go to work. They are not respectful and rude. Believe the negative reviews. I should have read first.
Do not go here!! They tried to over charge us for my daughter extraction of her impacted wisdom teeth, by billing it as a dental procedure . Another dental office out east accepted the payment without ever having my daughter as a patient. The billing department was very rude!! Amy didn't even acknowledge she owed us money and said she was ok being rude with me on the phone. She lied several times to both me and my husband. And when we first brought this to their attention, Amy hung up on my husband. We only found out they owed us money from our insurance company.
Referred by dentist for unexplained pain near back molar. Overcharged an amount before even seeing doctor who proceeded to tell me 'he thought' I needed the tooth pulled and possible bone graft after reviewing scan. Scheduled the surgery which I cancelled in plenty of time by phone (left message) and email, only to receive a late fee charge bill 6 months after the cancellation. Multiple hang-ups on my insurance representative when calls were made to try and recoup the overcharge amount difference from initial consultation - had to file a grievance with my insurance company which told me I was entitled to the refund prior to the late fee charge bill, only to find that the claim was denied due to the fact the late fee charge was admininistered. I got a second opinion from another oral surgeon who did his own scan (free of charge) and did not agree on the tooth removal or bone graft. My pain went away, ! thank goodness I cancelled that surgery or I would have lost a good molar
Referred here for molar pain. Informed $190 consult fee, shouldn’t have been since coming in for specific pain. Dentist redid referral- we could have walked in from street saying pain and wouldn’t have needed, but my dentist recommended! They claimed they never got email, I forwarded. They had us sit for 35 min. Finally had my son approach and ask why the wait, told office manager needed to approve us not paying fee. Girl had tone from second we walked in, no apology for waiting. Son said how much longer as he was missing work and they told him he had an attitude. I approached and they said they can’t approve visit because referral was written wrong. My son said he is pain!! I asked why they were giving us attitude and the insurance girl (not even involved in our conversation) got up and threw paper at us saying paying the $190 we’ll see you now!!! Clearly this office is driven by money as opposed to patient care. Front staff reflection of your practice, we walked out.
Disregarded a patients refusal for a bone graft and refused to pull the teeth unless they agreed to the extra charge of 2,000.00 for a bone graft. Due to the fact the patient had an infection they were in desperate need of the wisdom teeth being pulled, so they were coerced into having the graft done against their choice. This is not over and a complaint will be filed.
