About
Dr. Jotinder K. Johal grew up in East Africa, moved to the United States to earn her DMD degree at the University of Pennsylvania in 1994, and has been practicing in the Charlotte area since 1997. She enjoys practicing all aspects of dentistry but is especially passionate about prosthodontics and oral surgery. Dr. Johal prioritizes ongoing education and is a member of the American Dental Association, the Gaston Dental Society, the North Carolina Dental Society, and several dental study groups. Like her fellow Fresh Dental providers, Dr. Johal believes in serving others and volunteers for clinics such as NCMOM, Give Kids a Smile, and North Carolina Baptist Dental Bus. Outside of work she has a variety of interests, including design, travel, and automobiles. She also makes living a healthy lifestyle a priority and enjoys walking, hiking, and yoga. Dr. Johal has two sons, Bishal and Niren, one of whom is in dental school.
