About
Dr. Julia Heinrichs grew up in Prairie Village, Kansas, and attended the University of Missouri-Kansas City School of Dentistry, where she received honors from the Prosthodontics department and the President's Award for public health. Dr.Heinrichs received her undergraduate degree from the University of Kansas, where she received departmental and university honors in Genetics. During her college years, she studied abroad for over a year in Newcastle, Australia, where she performed biochemical research. Because of her strong will to help others she served as the philanthropy chairman for the Kappa Delta Sorority, and her academic achievements were recognized by societies such as the National Society of Collegiate Scholars and Phi Beta Kappa. Dr. Heinrichs relocated back to the Overland Park and Lenexa, KS area after her family and business were impacted by the Joplin tornado in late May of 2011. Out of the office, she enjoys reading, traveling, and in general spending time with her husband, Brandon, and two adorable boys, Evan and Will.
