About
Dr. Julia Nguyen was born and raised in Fayetteville, Arkansas where she attended the University of Arkansas and received a Bachelors of Science degree in biology and minor in finance. She then attended the University of Missouri-Kansas City School of Dentistry where she participated in the Senior Departmental Advanced Studies Program in Endodontics and earned her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree in 2014. Upon graduation from dental school, Dr. Nguyen furthered her education by completing a 1 year general practice residency at Wellspan York Hospital in York, Pennsylvania. She then attended the University of Illinois-Chicago College of Dentistry where she completed her specialty training in Endodontics and received her Master's Degree in Oral Sciences. She did extensive research on the post-operative healing outcomes with prophylactic antibiotics following surgical endodontic treatment. During her free time Dr. Nguyen enjoys hiking, kayaking, tennis, traveling, and exploring the city. Memberships: American Association of Endodontists, Illinois Association of Endodontists, American Dental Association, Chicago Dental Society, and Edgar D. Coolidge Endodontic Study Club.
