There is no place like home as Dr Kaitlyn Anderson Spencer a native of Ayden now accepting patients at Winterville s Beacon Dental well knows When Dr Spencer and her husband Trevor Spencer both graduates of D H Conley High School married in 2015 they knew that they would return to the place they loved with their dogs Conley and Chipper to pursue their passion for serving others For Trevor that passion includes coaching baseball and football at his alma mater and teaching English Dr Spencer also an athlete played volleyball all four years at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and was voted team captain her senior year After graduating with a degree in Exercise and Sports Science and a minor in chemistry Dr Spencer received her Doctor of Dental Medicine from East Carolina University where she was inducted into the Omicron Kappa Upsilon National Dental Honor Society Following graduation in 2018 she received a coveted acceptance to the Advanced Education in General Dentistry Residency at the Fayetteville VA Medical Center where she received further training in implant dentistry She has also been working part time at Harvey Associates Family Dentistry in Kinston Dr Spencer is pleased to be a part of Beacon Dental offering all general dentistry along with single visit Cerec crowns implants whitening and Invisalign In her spare time Dr Spencer enjoys watching her husband coach cheering on the Tar Heels spending time with her dogs and occasionally assisting her mom Sandy Cutler at Longstraw Farms in Ayden NC Dr Spencer is excited to be able to serve her community with the most advanced dental technologies and as we welcome her back home she wants to invite the community to her new dental home Beacon Dental
