Dr. Karen Morrison, DDS

About

Originally from Jamaica, Karen Morrison, DDS, earned her Bachelor of Arts in Mathematics from Graceland University. She received her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from West Virginia University. Following dental school, Dr. Morrison began working in general practice in Henderson, North Carolina. Later she worked in a medically underserved area for three years before joining the Friendly Dental team. Dr. Morrison volunteers her time through the Mission of Mercy (MOM) Project addressing the oral health needs of community members in underserved areas. Dr. Morrison enjoys all aspects of general dentistry and is passionate about helping her patients achieve optimal dental health and wellness, along with beautiful smiles. A firm believer in education, Dr. Morrison serves as an adjunct professor at the University of North Carolina School of Dentistry. In addition, she is dedicated to her own continuing education in the delivery of premium state-of-the-art care to her patients with special interests in restorative and hygiene care, periodontics, cosmetic dentistry, root canal therapy, and extractions.
