About
Dr. Thompson is a 1997 graduate of the University of North Carolina School of Dentistry. She also received her bachelor s degree in Chemistry from UNC in 1993. While in dental school, she served as a class officer all 4 years, including student body president her fourth year. After dental school, Dr. Thompson completed an Advanced Education in General Dentistry residency through the Air Force. After six years of service to our country, Dr. Thompson relocated to Charlotte in order for her husband to begin his career as a Charlotte-Mecklenburg police officer. Dr. Thompson enjoys all aspects of general dentistry, including restorative, cosmetic, and pediatric. In order to provide the highest quality of care, she frequently participates in continuing education courses and local study clubs in order to stay current with the latest techniques and procedures. Dr. Thompson devotes much of her free time to doing volunteer and mission work through her church, Carmel Baptist Church, including a recent trip to Kenya. When she is not working or volunteering, Dr. Thompson enjoys spending time with her husband and three children, watching sports on TV, reading, and doing DIY projects around the house.
