Professional Background: Known affectionately to her patients as "Dr. Katherine", Dr. Minh-Khue Dang is a graduate of the University of Virginia majoring in Chemistry and Mathematics. She obtained her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree in 1989 from the School of Dentistry at the Medical College of Virginia. Dr. Dang has training in implant placement and restoration with the prestigious and proven Nobel Biocare Implant system. She continues to attend seminars and workshops on implants and bone grafting with the NOVA Southeastern University in Florida and The Perio Institute. For over 20 years she has been continually updating and refining her dental skills and knowledge by attending numerous continuing education courses in all different aspects of dentistry such as Periodontics, Cosmetic Dentistry, Crowns and Bridges, Root Canal Treatments, Oral Surgery, Implants, and Invisalign. Dr. Dang also performs laser dentistry procedures. The Consumer Research Council of America has recognized Dr. Dang as one of America's Top Dentists. Dr. Dang is a member of the International Congress of Implantology (ICOI). She is continuously pursuing and updating her knowledge in implantology and restorative/reconstruction dentistry at the world renowned Carl Misch International Implants Institute in Orlando, FL and the Frank Spear Institute in Scottsdale, AZ. To Dr. Dang, continuing education is a lifelong commitment. Mission: Her mission is to treat every patient in her dental practice with the utmost respect and care; to use the most updated and proven dental techniques and technology today to provide the best dental care for her patients; to help her patients keep all their teeth healthy and great looking for a lifetime. Other Interests: When not seeing patients, Dr. Dang enjoys playing tennis and volleyball. She also loves to bike the W&OD trails with her husband and 2 sons. Dr Dang loves to exchange travels, foods, and life stories with her patients.
