About
Dr. Katie Wolken is a Missouri native, born and raised in Jefferson City. She received her undergraduate degree from The University of Missouri and The National University of Ireland in Galway. She then earned her Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) from The University of Missouri-Kansas City School of Dentistry. After completing her doctorate in Kansas City, Dr. Katie moved to St. Louis and practiced as a general dentist for 8 years. Eventually, she realized her true passion in dentistry was endodontics, also known as root canal therapy. She went back to school and completed her Masters of Science at the University of Louisville, specializing in Endodontics. Now, she works to dispel common misconceptions about root canals, helping patients leave the office relieved and pain free. She's terrified of being in the dental chair so has a lot of sympathy for patients who are less than excited to be there.
