About
Dr. Andreasen grew up in Louisville, Kentucky and received her Bachelor of Arts degree in Biology from Clemson University in 2010. From there, she attended the University of Louisville School of Dentistry to receive her Doctor of Dental Medicine degree in 2016 and graduated Magna Cum Laude. Dr. Andreasen continued at the University of Louisville to complete a residency in Graduate Periodontics and earned a Master of Science in Dentistry in 2019. Dr. Andreasen completed clinical research in the area of implant site development and implant placement and will pursue her status of becoming a Diplomat of the American Board of Periodontology. Dr. Andreasen is LANAP trained. She is certified in conscious sedation and ACLS and currently uses sedation and pain control techniques in her practice. Dr. Andreasen's professional organizations include: American Academy of Periodontology, American Dental Association, American Board of Periodontology, Illinois State Dental Society, Winnebago County Dental Society, Wisconsin Dental Association, Rock County Dental Society, and Midwest Society of Periodontics. Dr. Andreasen lives in Rockford, Illinois with her fiancé, Bryan, and their two dogs. She enjoys spending time with her family, traveling, cooking, and many outdoor hobbies, including running, hiking, and skiing.
