Great Expressions Dental Centers is pleased to welcome Dr. Kelwin J. Heard to our practice in Conyers, GA. Dr. Heard is a certified dentist who brings 30 years of dental experience with him. He specializes in providing comprehensive dental treatment in a family focused dentistry practice, formulating treatment plans designed to restore optimal oral health. In 1985, Dr. Heard completed his undergraduate studies at Vanderbilt University, earning a B.S. in Molecular Biology. He completed his dentistry training at Howard University, earning his Doctorate of Dental Surgery in 1990. He then completed his Advanced Education in General Dentistry at the University of Rochester Eastman Dental Center in 1991. Dr. Heard entered private practice in 1992 at Chicago-based Watson & Watson Dental as an Associate General Dentist in 1992. Dr. Heard then founded Heard & Heard Dental Associates, P.C. in Decatur, GA in 199 He joined Great Expressions Dental Centers in March 2020. In addition to his career-long membership with the American Dental Association, Dr. Heard is a member of the Academy of General Dentistry and the North Georgia Dental Society. I had an appointment with another dental office that had to reschedule due to issues they were having in the office. Would have been my first appointment. I had already heard bad reviews from other family members so I guess it was my fortune to have to locate Dr Heard's office. I was in a lot of pain and needed an extraction. They scheduled me to immediately come in. Their covid protocol was not confusing and very organized. I got right in. Didn't know nor care what provider they were gonna put me with but I'm glad it was Dr. Heard. He was very open to listen to my issue, had a very professional and diagnostic approach, and executed the best resolution possible for me. I appreciated the thoroughness of his work and his assistant. Today I feel great and no pain. I will as well as my entire family be patients of Dr. Heard going forward.

Amazing. Emergency extraction, in-house insurance plan is awesome. The staff was beyond welcoming and Dr. Heard is PHENOMENAL. Thanx you guys . Happy holidays

My son was visiting from out of town and broke a tooth. Dr. Heard was able to fit him into the schedule and saved the day!
