My grandson went to his very first dentist appointment, he is on Meridian insurance and sure is hard to find a dentist that accepts that insurance. So we were so excited to be able to get him into Kenneth S. Kollmann in Collinsville, Illinois as I always heard such great things about him. At the appointment I was told due to my 2-year old falling asleep with a bottle he needed major dental work done on 12 (TWELVE) of his teeth! Since he is 2 years old he would need to be put to sleep and it is very important to get done right away, but first they would need $225 to schedule the room at the hospital. So I charged this to my cc and received a appointment. I decided that was a lot of dental work for a 2 year old so why not get a second opinion? I paid cash to have this done on 8/30/19 and the pediatric dentist said his teeth looked good, besides a little plaque buildup. NOTHING WAS WRONG WITH HIS TEETH! Well let’s just say I am LIVID !!!

My kids have been going to Dr. Kollmann for 12 years. He is wonderful! He has a great rapport with the kids. When we started going there my kids were 3 and 5 and both terrified of the dentist and would scream and cry. They never did with Dr. Kollmann. He was able to put them at ease and get the job done. Now that they are teenagers he takes a genuine interest and has conversations with them. Office staff is great. We have no problems getting appointments and never wait past our appt time.

We have went to him for 7 years. My kids got the flu we were up all night we missed the appointment. It he charged me $50 per kid we have never missed an appointment. Not the type of business I want to take my kids to.
