Such a great dentist! Great with kids and so informative!!!! Highly recommend!!
Sees my kids. Both did well, including during procedures fordaughter. Shes scared of any medical appointments, especially shots but he got her through the procedure and gas wasn't needed! She's proud to have her dental work done and Dr. Mastey's education about snacking stuck with her.
Amazing dentist that really knows his stuff! He explains everything so nicely to where I can understand it. Very professional and down to earth!
My family and I have been going to Dr. Mastey for years. He’s compassionate, kind, thorough and understanding. He goes out of his way to explain things and doesn’t rush. He’s my family and I absolutely favorite dentist. He even referred me to a different dentist for a procedure he couldn’t do that saved me much money. When my children first saw him they were younger and he explained teeth care to them in a way they can understand. Very thoughtful. Recently, we had Brittany as our hygienist and she was absolutely wonderful. I highly recommend both of them. I HOPE to have Dr. Mastey as my dentist for many more years.
I had 2 teeth that were already loose and I wanted them extracted. Dr. Mastey gave me numbing shots and left the room for about 10 minutes. 2 minutes before he returned, I felt my jaw and immediately knew that I wasn't numbed properly. I told him that and he didn't seem to care and supposedly used another shot and left the room again. The first tooth wasn't a problem but when he yanked out my already loose wisdom tooth, I felt a twang of pain. Then even before I got up from the chair, I was in massive pain and was in this pain at least a couple of hours. I'm not stupid, I'm 51 years old and I've had teeth extracted before. In all my life, I never had that kind of experience before. I immediately switched over to a different dentist in Antigo. The dentist in Antigo, is well experienced and I never had any problems with him, he knows what he is doing. Dr. Mastey doesn't and he doesn't care about his patients, clearly.
Tooth was hurting like a son of a gun, dr Mastey is a pro tooth yanker. When In doubt have Kevin rip it out!

I changed my dental care to Dr. Mastey several years ago due to having issues with my previous dentist. I can't begin to tell you what a wonderful Dr. he is and how fortunate I was to get him. As a new patient he helped me with several problems right away to get me taken care of. I see him regular all the time for care. I've never known a dentist with more compassion, empathy, and understanding than he has. Dr. Mastey is patient, kind, gentle, caring, and a good listener. I always feel comfortable, relaxed, and totally at ease with him while he is helping me with whatever procedure he needs to do. I have never been able to say that about any previous dentist before that I've had. Like so many patients I always used to feel anxious going to see the dentist but since I began seeing him he ALWAYS goes out of his way to be sure I'm comfortable and ask me every little while if I'm doing ok. I would recommend Dr. Mastey to anyone I know for their dental care and I DO. Thank you Dr. !!!!!!!!!
Dr. Mastey is a good dentist. I have been seeing him for years. And he has always been friendly and polite. Makes you feel good going to the dentist. He has been an amazing dentist for me, with all my teeth issues. Best dentist I have had in a long time.
Dr. Mastey is a very thoughtful, thorough and kind dentist. I’ve been going to him for the past three years, and I have every confidence in his abilities. I gave him five stars for going above and beyond what I look for in a dentist. I also appreciate that he takes the time to explain things so I understand the process.
