About

Dr. Kevin McMillen graduated from Ohio University in 1992 with a B.S. in Zoology. He then went on to The Ohio State University College of Dentistry and received his D.D.S. in 1996. While attending Ohio State, Dr. McMillen was recognized by The Academy of Dental Materials for excellence in scholarship. He was also recognized by the OSU Dental Alumni Society for his research contributions which were published in the Journal of Restorative Dentistry. Dr. McMillen served as a Lieutenant in the U.S. Public Health Service from 1996 through 1998. He is currently a member of the Academy of General Dentistry, the Pittsburgh East Suburban Study Club and the Seattle Study Club. Pittsburgh Magazine has recognized Dr. McMillen in its selection of Top Dentists from 2007-2017. Originally from Hinckley, Ohio, Dr. McMillen lives in Murrysville with his wife, Katie, a pediatric dentist, and two children, Patrick and Paige. In addition to spending time with his family, he enjoys skiing, mountain biking, backpacking and cooking.

Had a great experience with Dr. McMillen and his assistant Kristen today. I chipped my molar and they were able to effectively and efficiently repair it in one short visit. Friendly staff and clean, inviting office. Would highly recommend to anyone in the area!

If I could give 0 stars I would. I had absolutely no pain nor problems with a molar other than getting food stuck between the 2 teeth and he kept saying I needed a crown. I really didn’t have the $ but eventually I did it and I’ve had problems with the molar ever since. He didn’t do a root canal before the crown was put on after he said I need one and of course he didn’t do root canals-WHAT KIND OF DENTIST DOESNT DO ROOT CANALS!? I’ve had pain on chewing and keep biting my cheek. I’ve tried to tell him a molar is not supposed to be flat and bubbled on one end(my original molar wasn’t like that but he says it’s supposed to be like this. I could go on with the close to $1000 in problems I’ve put in this 1 tooth but I won’t. I won’t go back to him would not recommend him to ANYONE! I will end up losing this tooth I’m sure???? I REALLY wish I would have left this tooth alone-better yet stayed clear of Dr. McMillen
