Dr. Kwame Kwakye will be continuing your Orthodontic care and treatment. Our team is confident that Dr. Kwakye will continue the tradition of providing convenient, compassionate and quality care for your family Dr Kwame Kwakye grew up in Athens, GA just outside of Atlanta. He completed his undergraduate degree at Georgia Southern University where he earned his Bachelor of Science in Biology, with a minor in Chemistry. Upon graduation, Dr. Kwakye spent several years as a healthcare consultant before attending Meharry Medical College in Nashville, TN. There he graduated in the top percentage of his class, was elected to several leadership positions and obtained his Doctorate in Dental Surgery in 2013. Dr. Kwakye continued his education by completing a post-doctoral residency at the University of Oklahoma where he obtained his Certificate of Specialty in Orthodontics and Dentofacial Orthopedics in 2015 Dr. Kwakye is a member of the American Association of Orthodontists, Southern Association of Orthodontists, Georgia Association of Orthodontists, Charles H. Tweed International Foundation, American Dental Association and National Dental Association. Dr. Kwakye prides himself on staying abreast of the latest developments in orthodontic care by attending continuing education courses In his spare time Dr. Kwakye participates in community Outreach programs with his fraternity, Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity Inc. He and his wife Sheriase enjoy working out, reading, rooting for their Georgia sports teams and spending time with friends and family.

Dr Kwakye and his staff are very nice, fast and professional all the time. He listens and talks to you like you’re family. He made sure that I I finally got a beautiful smile I always wanted. He’s the best and I will recommend him to anyone.

It’s the front office staff that is the biggest problem. On more than several occasions you can never get anyone to answer the phone even if you do leave a message. I had to cancel my appointment because my sibling had covid. I could never get a hold of anyone so I left a message. Over 3 weeks go by and still could never get a hold of anyone. Finally I called the customer service line and they then tried to transfer me to my location that I go to which is Stockbridge. After being transferred and no luck with anyone picking up the phone I call customer service again to let them know what happened and that I was now getting frustrated as this appointment is very important because this appointment is the last appointment before I can get these braces off. She then tells me if I don’t here anything in a day to give them a call. Finally i get a call from the office and I expressed my concerns to the receptionist. She then says that it’s my fault & is extremely rude to me.

The people that works here are very nice and they are willing to help you get in and get out as quickly as possible. I love that I don't have to sit there all day. I just had my braces put on and so they put me at ease with educating me on dental and braces care and gave me a care package to take home. I Love It!!

Do not waste your time in coming to this location. I would recommend ANY other location than THIS ONE!!! They do not answer the PHONE, which is ridiculous since incoming calls generate business!! I have only had to visit this office twice but BOTH visits I sat in the waiting room for over an hour EVEN THOUGH I HAD AN APPOINTMENT! My son got braces there on Saturday, Sunday his separator came out from using his water pik flosser. I have tried contacting them 27 times TODAY and all I get is an automated system telling me to leave a voice message (but the voicemail is full SMH). !!!!!! March 24, 2021 Update!!!!! All other locations are too far from me so I have to come to the Stockbridge location ?? I’m here again for my sons braces maintenance and my appointment was scheduled for 3:20p, well it’s 4:33p and he JUST got called back. Talking about they had fires to put out. There’s ALWAYS a fire!! This is a concerning pattern and it’s ridiculous. Not sure how they achieve 4 stars...

Dr. Kwakye and the techs are great! The front office staff lacks customer service on every visit. It's very hard to recommend a doctor when the front office staff is poor. Wait times are too long every visit. Always a problem with scheduling and the waiting room is always full as if they overbook patients.

Dr. Kwakye is amazing and my daughter loves to see him, his office staff not so much. The front seat is always staffed with a different person and trying to reach anyone by phone is almost impossible. I understand there is a virus that is creating issues for most of us these days but at least answer the phone or call someone back!
