About

Dr. Laura Menees Moore graduated from UMKC School of Dentistry in 2000 with her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree (DDS) and has practiced with her father, Dr. Bob, since the fall of 2010. Before joining his practice, she worked in private practices around the Kansas City area and at Haskell Health Center in Lawrence, KS as a federal dentist with the Indian Health Service. In her free time, Dr. Laura enjoys running, boating, snow skiing, and she treasures spending time with her daughter, Nico.

Care Philosophy

Menees Family Dentistry has deep roots in Kansas City. Dr. Robert Menees Sr. started the practice at the Country Club Plaza in 1946. Dr. Robert Menees Jr. moved the practice to Fairway, KS in 1971. And Dr. Laura Menees moved the practice to Prairie Village, KS in 2014. We have been blessed and humbled to serve our community for decades. We pride ourselves in quality, personalized, gentle dental care and consider our patients family. That is why Dr. Laura chose her business logo as the family tree. We want our patients to feel they have found their dental home and feel part of our family. This has been our philosophy since 1946. We would love for you to join our family!

The people in this office are professional, experienced, friendly, and nice. Excellent care, with a gentle touch. I was impressed by Dr. Laura Menees Moore and her staff from the time of my first visit several years ago. Everyone was genuinely nice, soft-spoken, and had a good sense of humor. From the first visit, I felt that I was in good hands. I feel that way with each visit. On each visit, the office is on time and ready to see me. They are the best.

I have always been impressed with Dr. Menees Moore to handle my quotidian dental needs, but it was only after I started Invisalign with her that I truly got to know her and could fully appreciate her dedication to her patients' satisfaction. I am confident that she spent considerably more time with me than required just to make sure every thing came out as desired.

Dr. Menees Moore is not my dentist. However she was able to meet me, for a 1st time visit, the same day that I requested it. I needed a 2nd opinion on a tooth that another dentist had just recommended an extraction and implant on. She X-ray and recommended the tooth be saved, and given a root canal instead. She also clarified the correct tooth number, which the previous dentist misidentified. She and her staff were very professional and pleasant. You couldn't ask for a better dental visit!
