I recently had a root planing and scaling done with Dr. Carnerio.For the record, I am a completely and entirely PETRIFiED of anything and everything related to dentists, oral surgeons, periodontists, etc. This doctor understood me and he actually listened. Did I like the procedure? No--. I am not going to say that, but the experience was nothing like I dreaded or expected.Denise at the front desk is very nice as well.

I have always been treated with courtesy from office staff, great care from my hygenist and finally a smile from Dr. Carneiro when coming into the room. He makes sure that I am aware of the care provided and what my options could be based on current care. I reccomend him with no reservation.

Stuff at the front desk is incompetent and does not know how to work with insurance. I ended up paying out of pocket even though I have dental insurance.

Dr. Carneiro listened to my concerns and provided a comprehensive evaluation with treatment plan and recommendations. The office staff was friendly and professional. The office was very clean with a pleasant decor. I would highly recommend Dr. Carneiro.

Dr. Carneiro performed a gum graft for me about six months ago. The procedure went well and my dentist told me that my gum looks great. I would highly recommend Dr. Carneiro. He has an office on Union St in Schenectady.
