Tooth crown nightmare

12/30/2023 - I had been dealing with an uncomfortable molar for a few weeks. The pain increased to the point that the tooth needed attention. Unfortunately, the dentist I had used for the past 40 years retired this past fall. I called several DDS offices, and due to the holiday I wasn’t able to speak with anyone at the offices i tried to contact.I tried Dr Cohen’s office at 8:25 a.m.. It was my good fortune that Dr Cohen was at her office and picked up. I explained my situation regarding the molar and she had me come in at 10:00 am. She took X-rays and it was determined that I had an infection. The tooth needed to be extracted. Dr Cohen did a great job extracting, stitching and explaining next steps. I went through the New Year weekend with little to no pain. On January 3, 2024, I had a follow up call from Dr Cohens’ office to come in and view the site…..All good! Thank you Dr for your professionalism, compassion and skill!

This woman tells me my insurance didn’t cover my services and that I had to pay it off pocket. I called my insurance and they did pay!!! She refused to send my referral and my X-ray to my oral surgeon because I no longer wanted to see her. She has been reported to my insurance! Beware!

This is a challenging time for all medical offices and it is so hard to be seen these days. I had an excruciating tooth ache for the past few days. I kept getting told dentists had no appointments for a week. After I called this office, the staff squeezed me in at the end of the day and stayed late for me to get me out of pain. I'm going to need a root canal in a bit but at least now I can sleep. Thanks guys - great job!
