Dr. Lidia Ickes grew up in Southeastern Michigan where she completed her undergraduate and graduate studies. She received a Bachelor of Science in biology from Oakland University followed by a Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from University of Detroit Mercy School of Dentistry. Dr. Ickes graduated with recognition for her academic accomplishments and she is a member of the National Dental Honor Society – Omicron Kappa Upsilon. Before Dr. Ickes moved to Illinois, her dental career was dedicated to private practice in Michigan. There, she excelled in all aspects of general dentistry and treated patients of all ages and dental needs. Her dedication and patient-focused approach demonstrates her proven commitment to oral health. Dr. Ickes always maintains a high level of comfort while achieving the optimum results. She takes pride in delivering compassionate, comprehensive dental care with a strong emphasis on prevention and patient education. To broaden her knowledge of the latest dental advances and the evolving technology in the industry, Dr. Ickes regularly attends continuing education classes and workshops. This is a priority that helps her daily practice and enables her to demonstrate innovative clinical excellence. She is professionally affiliated with the Academy of General Dentistry, American Dental Association, Illinois State Dental Society and Chicago Dental Society. Dr. Ickes recently moved to Illinois with her husband, Matt. They currently live in the city of Chicago where they are experiencing all the best the city has to offer.
