Dr. Pollina and his wife Laura run this practice as the two dentists. I was surprised to learn that my child with good oral home-care had back cavities after two years going to this office. I had asked that they apply sealants to his teeth at our initial visits and they agreed. It turns out that they did not apply sealants to his back teeth. They now claimed these teeth had ridges on top that would make them cavity-prone. So now they wanted to drill the cavities. Dr. Laura was not very kind - at all - in responding to my concerns. I asked to speak with Dr. Pollina - only to learn that this was his wife. That was my last visit to his office. I found an excellent dentist for my child who indicated that he in fact did not need to have cavities work on his back teeth. Dr. Polina is on the Medicare program - and many children coming to see him may not have the resources to scrutinize and challenge the work done at his office. Potential clients should seek 5-Star rated offices.
