About
Dr. Mackenzie Popko Schar graduated from Midwestern University in Downers Grove, IL May of 2018. She currently sees patients at Grand Dental's beautiful Channahon location. Scheduling online is easy through the website above! She was born and raised in beautiful Stillwater, MN. She attributes her desire to become a dentist from her experience with her first dentist. As young as elementary school, she remembers enjoying her dental visits, even when she needed fillings! Dr. Popko Schar believes prevention is key- educating children (and adults!) in proper oral hygiene will help them develop lifetime habits that will prevent dental issues in the future. When not serving patients in her Channahon office, Dr. Popko Schar enjoys spending time with her husband, Alex, and their dogs Jackson (Yorkshire Terrier) and Prea (Husky/Pit-bull), an unlikely duo. They are also expecting their first child- a baby girl due July 2020!
