Marc L. Marlette, D.M.D. is a general Dentist and Sleep Medicine Specialist practicing in Florence, KY. Dr. Marc Marlette grew up in Frankfort, Kentucky. He attended Transylvania University and Kentucky State University before graduating from the University of Louisville Dental School with a doctorate in dental medicine in 1997. Dr. Marlette joined the Air Force and became a Captain right out of dental school. He was stationed in Washington, DC, and Biloxi, Mississippi for 5 years. After 9/11, he was stationed Tampa, Florida for 6 months. In 2002, Dr. Marlette and his family moved back to Northern Kentucky. He bought Dr. Jeff Smith's dental practice in the original location of Park Plaza off US Highway 42. Dr. Marlette started with only 3 employees in addition to himself. With business booming and needing more space to accommodate the growing patient clientele, Dr. Marlette built the current building of Marlette's Family Dentistry at 7303 US Highway 42. We currently have 11 employees with 4 hygienist and 2 doctors working together out of 8 operatory rooms! Starting in 2013, Dr. Marlette started his journey to become a dental sleep provider. In 2014, Dr. Marlette became certified under the American Academy of Craniofacial Pain and American Board of Craniofacial Dental Sleep Medicine. We are the only accredited dental sleep provider within a 100 mile plus radius and one out of fifty-six in the United States. He is a Diplomat of the 'American Academy of Dental Sleep Medicine' and the 'Academy of Craniofacial Pain Sleep Medicine'. He is a professional member of ADA, KDA, ABCDFM and AASM. Dr. Marlette was married in 1996 while he was in dental school. They have two beautiful children and currently attend Villa Madonna where they participate in multiple after school activities. Dr. Marlette is a huge University of Kentucky fan, and in his free time, enjoys attending basketball games at Rupp Arena. Dr. Marc Marlette became a board member for the nonprofit organization, Go Pantry, in 2015. This organization provides food to Boone County students during breaks from school such as weekends, summer, spring break and Christmas break. The entire family stays very involved in this organization and enjoys spending their time to better the community.
