I’ve been going to Dr Ruelas for about 15 years. He assisted me with veneers for my front teeth. As well as all of my standard care for all these years. Anything I have ever had done they have been upfront with the pricing, no hidden fees no hidden costs everything has been preapproved by the insurance whenever possible so that I knew exactly what I was going to owe when everything was over. His work is amazing and I would never wanna go to anyone else. I trust him a great job and be very thorough.
Rude rude rude. They were upset we needed to reschedule multiple times(hence having a child with special needs and ongoing medical needs). First thing I observed, when we walked into the office was the dentist messing around with a vacuum. Dentist glaring without saying a word, even to my son. The office staff stated their computer was down and therefore, I would need to fill out paperwork, even though I had completed online. Watched office staff on computer as we were exiting appointment. Dentist doesn’t have good mannerism with special needs. Approached my son, out of my son’s field of vision, waving an instrument in my son’s face. My son also got sick after the appointment, which I questioned due to the instrument the dentist brought out of nowhere.. Did not observe where the instrument came from which the dentist put into my son’s mouth. Usually, all instruments which are sterile, clean are laid out on a tray. Wouldn’t recommend this dentist and or office staff.
Appointment was quick but also very concise. Even through training a new tech the whole visit was very smooth and informative. Everything was explained thoroughly, and to where I could understand.
Dr Ruelas has been my dentist for at least twenty years. I started with him when he opened his private practice. He is a fantastic dentist. He is a one stop visit for almost any issue you might have regarding your teeth. This is so important for busy self employed individuals. I had a crown crack and come off. He made a new crown in his office yesterday and put the crown on at the same visit! It fits perfectly. He has a wonderful personality and is so calm and reassuring while he works on his patients. The office staff is incredibly kind and knowledgeable! I wouldn’t think of using anyone but Dr Ruelas! I think he is the greatest!

First dentist to notice that an abnormality in my mouth was caused by my wisdom teeth coming in wrong. First dentist to even check! Has saved me so many headaches. Also, staff is awesome!
I just finished at Dr. Ruela’s office. I went to have a bridge recemented after I said it fell out after less than three months. He did not even clean off the glue from the previous cementing. It seems like he did the absolute easiest and least time consuming fix he could do to get me to pay my bill. I also think they charged me incorrectly by taking advantage of my insurance company. Bottom line is that this dentist overcharges and does shoddy work.
Repeated visits for fitting problems, partial sent out of state for extended period of time for repair, a temporary that he could not remove in order to fit the permanent that I paid for, now he cannot find the permanent. Too many problems, too much money wasted. Would not recommend the services of this dentist. Staff, except for one, was very nice, friendly.
Called to reschedule due to kid being sick. Got charged a cancellation fee. I will not be back
