A lifelong resident of Kentucky, Dr. Samantha Shaver was raised in a small town in the western part of the state and spent much of her childhood in her fathers dental practice. That experience sparked a deep appreciation for the warmth and familiarity of a small-town officesomething shes worked hard to emulate in her city-based practice.Dr. Shaver earned her Doctor of Dental Medicine degree from the University of Louisville in 1994. Her commitment to lifelong learning led her to pursue advanced continuing education, and in 2007, she earned her Fellowship in the Academy of General Dentistryan achievement that reflects over 500 hours of coursework across all disciplines of dentistry and the successful completion of a rigorous examination.My favorite part of being a dentist is the connection I get to build with patients, she says.
