About
Dr. Walters received his Bachelor of Science diploma in Nutritional Science at Michigan State University. He attended the university of Michigan School of Dentistry and graduated with the degree of Doctor of Dental Surgery, in 1993. Matt's dental career began in the Indian Health Service, where he spent five years in Oregon and Alaska. He spent time flying into remote villages in Alaska to provide dental care to Yup'ik Eskimos. Dr. Walters later attended the Oregon Health Sciences University in Portland, Oregon where he completed a residency in endodontics. He entered into private practice in Oregon and served as a faculty member, teaching endodontics at the Oregon Health Sciences University. Matt has returned to the Philadelphia area with his wife and two children to be closer to family. He enjoys travel and outdoor activities, including cross-country skiing, backpacking and wildlife photography.
