About
Dr. Meggan L. Rutledge attended the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign where she received her Bachelors of Science degree in Bioengineering. She then continued her education at the University of Illinois at Chicago College of Dentistry where she earned her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree. Dr. Rutledge received special honors training in Endodontics and Pediatrics, as well as obtained additional recognition for her work in implant dentistry and exceptional commitment to patient care. Dr. Rutledge is passionate about continuing her dental education, energetically attending local dental study club meetings and completing continuing education courses. She is a member of the Spear Education community, focusing on interdisciplinary, comprehensive and individualized care through collaboration with local specialists. She is an active member of the American Dental Association, Chicago Dental Society, Illinois State Dental Society, and Academy of General Dentistry. Dr. Rutledge grew up in Crystal Lake, IL and now resides locally with her husband, David, two sons, Charlie and Bobby, and daughter, Avonel. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her siblings (she is one of six kids!) and their growing families, spending time outdoors, and traveling.
