Dr. Christopher Ban saw me almost immediately in an emergency situation, was congenial and kind (and confident) and was able to assist me. Although a difficult extraction complicated by difficulty in numbing the area, he did an excellent job in a timely manner with minimal discomfort. I will not hesitate to recommend his practice.
I went to Dr Ban to have a tooth extracted. Dr Ban was very pleasant and welcoming. He took the time to talk to me, and evaluate the problem. Dr Ban made me feel very comfortable during the procedure, and gave exceptional care.

If you are in need of an DDS, oral surgeon, please consider Dr. Michael & Dr. Christopher Ban in Beaver. I've had three extractions done by them and I can't tell you what a (almost) pleasant experience it was! I had a molar pulled last Thursday and was eating pizza on Saturday! My husband had his first visit this week, and based on their evaluation, we saved a substantial amount of money on the work he needed done. They are personable, professional & have a great staff as well. Please keep them in mind!
After seeing my dentist I was referred to an oral surgeon for an extraction due to tooth pain and inability to do a successful root canal. Having used Dr. Michael Ban in the past by all members of our family for everything from impacted wisdom teeth to extractions we have always been pleased with their professionalism and level of care given to patients. Today I was treated by Dr. Chris who is very caring and professional as well. They squeezed me into their busy day and spent adequate time with me explaining the procedure and care afterwards. Their staff was very nice and helpful too. Thank you! I would recommend their practice to family and friends.
Dr. Ban was excellent--gentle, informative and professional. His staff, however, charged me $75 to share information about my anesthetics that they did not convey to the doctor when asked. I was forced to visit him before my appointment to share information from other doctors because his staff did not tell him what we both needed him to know.
The doctor himself I recommend without reservation.
I required oral surgery to remove a cyst from the tip of one of my tooth roots. The surgery required anesthesia and a one inch incision with seven stitches. The procedure went smoothly, but I expected major pain after the anesthesia and novacaine wore off. However, I was amazed to experience no pain... ZERO pain! Incredible.
I also messed up my copay payment in that I paid it with a credit card instead of my HSA debit card, and they switched payments for me the next day with no problems.
Such a great doctor and a great experience getting my wisdom teeth out. The only issue I had was I never even received a follow up call to see how I was doing after getting 4 impacted wisdom teeth out. Just wasn't what I expected after working at a doctors office in the past.
Highly recommend. I had a wisdom tooth extracted and it's two and half days since it was done. Excellent professional and friendly Dr Ban. I haven't experienced any complications, swelling or pain so far. Office staff are very professional too.
