Dr. Michael Blackmon is a 1990 graduate of Duke University where he was a member of the Duke football team. He received his Dental Degree from UT Memphis in 1997. After practicing in Tennessee for seven years he moved to Rome, GA. In 2004, Dr. Blackmon started his Rome practice and continued that practice until July 2018. After selling his Rome practice Dr. Blackmon purchased Martin Dental in February 2019. Dr. Blackmon wants to instill his patient first philosophy into a concierge style of Dentistry that is unique to Cartersville, GA. Dr. Blackmon has a wife, Robin, and two children, Abby and Reid, that both attend the University of Alabama. Dr, Blackmon enjoys exercising, football, boating, and fishing.
