About
Dr. Michael Chopyk (or ``Dr Mike, as he prefers to be called) opened the doors to his dental practice in 1981. He is a graduate of the University of Vermont, where he earned his BA in chemistry, and graduated as an inducted member of the Phi Beta Kappa Honor Society. He was awarded a military scholarship to attend Tufts University School of Dental Medicine, from which he graduated with a DMD in 1979. Dr. Mike served 3 years as a lieutenant in the Dental Corps of the United States Navy, stationed at the Philadelphia Naval Base. He worked as a dentist and gained his experience and confidence. Dr. Mike believes that in order to provide the best care to his patients, he needs to stay current. He therefore regularly attends continuing education programs. Dr. Mike has lived in South Jersey since 1979, and in Washington Township since 1981. His office is a home office in a neighborhood setting. He and his wife have become an embedded part of the community. They raised their two now grown children here, and their children attended the Washington Township Public School System. In his time off, Dr. Mike enjoys puttering around the house and garden, antiquing, yard saling and spending time with his growing family.
