About
ABOUT DR. GAZORI Dr. Mike graduated from the University of Washington, School of Dentistry in Seattle in 1989, which at the time was the top rated dental school in the country. After graduating, Dr Mike practiced general dentistry and was a part-time clinical instructor in the University of Washington Pediatric Dentistry Clinic. Motivated to care exclusively for children, he entered the pediatric dentistry residency at Children's National Medical Center in Washington, DC in 2003, gaining further experience in the management of special needs children, traumatic injuries, sedation, and general anesthesia. As Chief Resident at Children's Hospital in 2004 Dr. Gazori completed an externship at Children's Dental Health Project in Washington D.C. There he developed a training survey used in South Dakota to train pediatricians and other health care providers in the recognition and timely referral of dental and oral disorders in children. ``For me, the name Little Pearls Dentistry is not just a cute or catchy name. It's a philosophy that encompasses all that we do. We want our patients to have the healthiest and brightest smiles possible. We also think of our patients as ``little pearls``, to be valued for all their special and unique qualities.`` Dr. Gazori is a member of: - American Association of Pediatric Dentistry - Southeastern Society of Pediatric Dentistry - American Dental Association - Virginia Dental Association - Northern Virginia Dental Association Outside the office, Dr Gazori enjoys working out, reading, spending time with his family, and rooting on his Seattle sports teams.
