About
Dr. Michael F. Hnat is a graduate of the University of Pittsburgh School of Dental Medicine. Dr. Hnat brings exceptional knowledge and experience in the fields of dental sleep medicine, TMJ disorders, and craniofacial pain. He completed the prestigious mini-residency in temporomandibular joint (TMJ) disorders from Tufts University School of Dental Medicine in Boston, MA and the mini-residency and his Fellowship Program in Craniofacial Pain through the American Academy of Craniofacial Pain. He holds board certifications through the American Board of Craniofacial Pain , the American Board of Dental Sleep Medicine and the American Board of Craniofacial Dental Sleep Medicine and Fellow status through the American Academy of Craniofacial Pain. He has the distinction as the only dentist in the state of Pennsylvania to achieve Board Certification in the field of Craniofacial Pain. In addition to his clinical work, Dr. Hnat is clinical assistant professor at the West Virginia University School of Dentistry. He enjoys teaching and training the dental hygiene and dental students in the fields of dental sleep medicine and TMJ disorders. His passion as an educator and clinician is evident in his lectures to his students and treatment of his patients.
