About

"Dr. Mike" received his dental degree from the University of Missouri-Kansas City in 1983. About 10 years later, he made his practice mercury-free - the first step on the unique journey toward developing his holistic, biologic practice in St. Louis. "Dr. Michael" followed in his father's footsteps, earning his dental degree from the University of Missouri - Kansas City in 2020. A 2011 graduate of DeSmet High School, he also holds a bachelor's in health science with a minor in psychology from Mizzou, where he graduated with distinction (Magna Cum Laude).

Care Philosophy

At our dental office in St. Louis, we practice holistic dentistry because we believe it is the best dental treatment for my patients. We believe that we must consider the biological effects that dentistry has on the entire body. It is imperative that we use dental materials that are compatible with wellness. It is crucial that we evaluate dental treatments such as extractions, root canals, and implants and recognize how these procedures may compromise our biological health and well being.

If I were not experiencing this in my own body, I would not believe it. I have suffered chronic fatigue for 30 years! It is going away after having the root canals extracted. Also , I had two cavitations repaired. Sleep has improved immensely. I took cancer chemotherapy (isotretinoin) many years ago and my immune system suffered. As Dr. Rehme explained to me, some people have strong enough immune systems to handle root canals. Mine had been compromised. The infections on my face and neck have cleared. My blood pressure usually running quite low (which made me feel like I was going to pass out) has returned to an excellent 116/70. I knew I had problems with bacterial infections. Antibiotics helped me, but now I have been able to cut out a lot of medication. Never in a million years would I ever thought that a practice so universally accepted like root canal could be causing so much of my pain. Who is minding the damn store? Patti Lodes

Good chance teeth are pulled unnecessarily. Would not recommend.
