About
Dr. Silvert holds dual specialties in orthodontics and oral medicine. Formerly a professor of orthodontics at the University of Illinois, Dr. Silvert served as the head of the undergraduate orthodontics program for nine years. During his more than 30 years of practice in Northwest Indiana, Dr. Silvert has treated over 11,000 patients. He has especially enjoyed his close work with the wonderful doctors at Shriners Childrens Hospital bringing smiles to children with the most severe dental-skeletal problems. Dr. Silvert is deeply honored by the trust these gifted doctors have placed in his orthodontic management of these uniquely challenging patients.
