About
Dr. Mindy J. Streem is a Diplomate of the American Board of Orthodontics (Board Certified), a member of the College of Diplomates of the American Board of Orthodontics, a member of the American Association of Orthodontists and The American Dental Association. She is also a member of the Ohio Dental Association and the Greater Cleveland Dental Society. Mindy grew up in Toledo, Ohio. She graduated from The University of Michigan Summa Cum Laude with both a degree in Voice Performance from the School of Music and a degree in Biology from the School of Literature, Sciences and the Arts. Through her vocal training, she specialized in performing classical music and operatic arias in more than 5 different languages. Mindy performed the National Anthem at The University of Michigan's commencement ceremony in 2001 on the 50-yard line at Michigan's football stadium. For many years, she volunteered to sing at many events for the Make-A-Wish Foundation and the Michigan and Massachusetts branches of the Special Olympics. Mindy attended Harvard School of Dental Medicine (HSDM), which consisted of two years of training at Harvard Medical School and two years at the dental school. During this time, Mindy served as Vice President of Harvard School of Dental Medicine and as President of the school's chapter of Alpha Omega Dental Fraternity. Mindy earned her Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) degree from HSDM in 2005. After graduating from Harvard, Mindy earned her Master of Science degree and certificate in Orthodontics at The University of Michigan in 2008. After her residency, Mindy worked as a full time orthodontist in Chesapeake, Virginia while her husband completed his residency in periodontics. Since moving to Cleveland, she has been in private practice.
